Volunteer Attorney opportunities at the International Institute of the East Bay

Volunteer opportunities are currently available for licensed attorneys (from any state), and graduates of law schools, in a variety of different areas of work, including VAWA and Deportation Defense.

In particular, we have a great need for attorneys for the Institute’s new Deportation Defense Project, specifically: Experience immigration attorneys to serve as mentors for less experienced attorneys, and volunteer attorneys to represent immigrants facing deportation.  Please join us to defend low-income immigrants against unfair and unjust deportations.

Please send your resume and cover letter indicating your interest to Susan Bowyer, Managing Attorney, at sbowyer@iieb.org.
