			Since 1919, the International Institute of the East Bay has been an invaluable resource for immigrants seeking a better life for themselves and their children in the United States. Eager to become self-sufficient and participate in a free and democratic society, today's immigrants, like others before them, hold great promise in keeping America a dynamic and inspired society. The Institute is one of the very few organizations exclusively devoted to helping newcomers. With the support of a generous and caring community, we help thousands of immigrants become self-sufficient and participate fully in the affairs of our society. In this way, they enrich our community and make this among the most diverse and vibrant countries of the world.
